Graphic Designer & Marketing Professional
About Me
I was born and raised in Sutton, Massachusetts and I now live in Boston. I was always a creative kid who loved nothing more than coloring and painting. I’d like to believe that my career as a Graphic Designer began when I was five years old playing on Kid Pix, a drawing computer program for kids.
Fast forward to high school. I went in to trade school thinking I wanted to be a nurse. My big plans were turned upside down when I explored the Graphic Communications shop. I fell in love fast. For the next few years, I learned how to create layouts, visualize stories, become an expert with the Pen Tool, and least important but most unique, I learned how to operate a printing press.
I was one of the lucky few who went into college knowing exactly what I wanted to do. Throughout college I learned how to harness my design skills and use them in different mediums. I explored the world of motion design, where animating five seconds takes approximately 40 days (just kidding…sort of). I learned the basics of coding and how typing some gibberish can make incredible things happen on the screen. My favorite lessons though, were about branding; conceptualizing a brand, maintaining a brand, and growing a brand.
Today, I am an Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Design with 8+ years of experience specializing in branding, website redesign, print and digital advertising, and podcast production. I am versatile, creative and positive with proven skills in collaboration, multitasking and communication. I thrive in fast-paced settings and operate with a sense of urgency. I always come to work with a positive attitude and I believe that team work really does make the dream work.
